Expect a select gathering of daring entrants, showcasing their innovative interpretations of the theme. Whether it's a botanical bloom intertwined with gears or a mechanical marvel adorned with floral motifs, each entry promises to mesmerize and inspire.

 

Our esteemed panel of judges bring a wealth of expertise to the table. From Simone Montgomery, costumer and milliner extraordinaire, to Tracy Vickers, designer, maker and artist, with an eye for the extraordinary  and Maureen Bradshaw, Oamarus’s own costumer renowned for her impeccable craftsmanship.  Every detail will be scrutinized with precision. Joining this illustrious lineup is the talented milliner, Liz Van Ende, whose discerning eye for headwear will ensure that the botanical mechanical hats are nothing short of spectacular.

But the excitement doesn't end there! As the curtains rise, prepare to be captivated by a brief insight into the Internationally renowned World of Wearable Arts (WoW) by our guest judge and recent WoW contestant, Tracy Vickers. From concept to stage, Tracy will take you on a journey through the creative process, offering a glimpse into the magic behind the runway.

And what's a fashion show without a touch of daring? Keep your eyes peeled for the brave souls strutting their stuff in steampunk swimwear, a testament to the adventurous spirit of the genre.

With the accompaniment of esteemed organist Ron Newton, the stage is set for an afternoon of elegance, innovation, and botanical-mechanical brilliance. Prepare to be dazzled at the Botanical-Mechanical Fashion Showcase – where fashion meets fantasy in the heart of the steampunk universe.
