Steampunk Sunday

Update 27 April 2020

Yesterday's Steampunk Sunday- Tea Party was a great success with people from all over NZ and Australia joining. Have already starting to plan for another and hope more of you can join us next time.

During the discussions we reflected on ANZAC Day, how different it was and the creativity that has been seen in our local communities. Usually the Annual Poppy Appeal is the major fundraiser for the RSA, and has not been able to take place this year. The RSA does great work supporting those who have worked in the armed forces and provides a safe place for those returned service people to meet and share stories, both the good and the bad. The New Zealand RSA is asking for donations through a Give a Little, even a couple of dollars will help this important organisation through this time.

Plenty of gadgets and outfits shared, as well as advise on how to create Steampunk items. Also plenty of smiles shared, so nice to connect with everyone even though we can't be together.
