Dr Xylo returns for 2026! 

This challenge is free to enter but contestants MUST submit an entry form as places are LIMITED.

​

Create your special miracle potion

- be it 'Tincture of Cog' or 'Potion of Steam Beetle' –

and bring the potion in its enticing bottle to be judged as

'Snake Oil Merchant Extraordinaire'.

​

Entrants will have an opportunity to ‘sell’ their potion,

so practice your banter

- or get someone else to do this bit for you!

 

You will have ONE minute to pitch your potion to the gathered crowd. 

 

Entries will be judged on

the aesthetics of the label and packaging

&

the 'pitch'

​Bring your 'Snake Oil' to the Grainstore Gallery, upstairs in Harbour Street, between 10 and 11am Sunday 31 May 2026 and be ready to 'Pitch your Potion' at 11.00am.
